The Criterion Hotel is centrally located in Sydney City on the corner of Pitt and Park Streets. Located just a five minute walk from Town Hall Station and the Queen Victoria Building we are perfectly situated for you to enjoy the sights of Sydney.


Once you step into our beautifully decorated lobby you will be acquainted with the charm and character of the building you will be staying in. Situated within a beautiful Art Deco building above our Hotel premises our accommodation has recently been refurbished to supply our guests with simple yet comfortable and clean facilities.

All Standard Rooms come with shared bathroom facilities, and en suite rooms are also available. Each room is supplied with clean linen, towels, access to Shampoo and Body Wash, Sealy Sovereign Beds, Fan lights and block out blinds.

All guests agree to:
  • Presentation & Photocopy of a drivers license or passport at the time of Check in
  • Provide a mobile phone contact number
  • Check in time from 12 Midday Daily
  • Check out Time strictly by 10.00am
  • Smoking is prohibited on all levels & in all rooms, $1100 fine applies for setting off a false alarm

ROOM CONDITIONS

  • Pre Payment is required or upon check in
  • No Excessive noise or Traffic to & from Room
  • No Exceeding number of Guests allowed per room
  • Drunken or Disorderly behaviour is prohibited
  • Linen & Towels will be counted and damages or theft may result in Charges made
  • Damages must be paid for in accordance to the Innkeepers Act 1968 No 24-
  • Failure to check out by 10am may result in another nights stay being charged
  • Long Term Residents are not permitted

 

In the event that any person fails to vacate the premises after such requests have been made, the police will be called, which may result in further action being taken against the said person
